Vibrating feed dryer.
Machine was built by Furnace Engineering in Melbourne to dry pellets used in tile manufacture. Nominal design throughput was 1.5 tonnes an hour but this is dependant on moisture content. The last application it was used for had a throughput of 600kg/hr with moisture content of 25% reduced to less than 2%.
Machine dimensions are max height 4.2m, width 2.21m and length 13m.
The actual drying bed is 13m x 1m wide and has a solid floor with all contact parts being st/steel.
Operating Design Temp 150degC, Max Temp 200degC
The dryer is designed on the principle of hot air being recirculated across the dryer bed. The dryer bed is insulated stainless which works on a principle the same as a vibrating feed system (such as syntron). Vibration is generated by an offset pulley drive to a cam system in the centre of the dryer undercarriage. Vibration is then thrown via a series of coil spring sets.
Machine data plate photo also attached. No accessories such as the baghouse or conveyors are for sale but has full electronic control box and separate controls for the burner unit. Machine as is where is(QLD) and buyer to pay to disassemble costs.
