The IP-2509-HD is the ultimate in numerically controlled planers. This industrial 25” planer has a 10 hp single phase motor makes sure you never run out of power even when planeing full 25” boards. Another advantage of the single phase power it that is will run in almost any shop without much problem. Because of the 10 hp motor the IP-2509-HD can take 1/4” of material at one time by spinning it spiral head cutter at 5000 rpm. The table of the IP-2509-HD is 25” x 32”, but also has cast iron excretions that make the overall table size a large 25” x 57”
Many special features help make this the best on the market in its size. Oversized bearing housings ensure ultra-smooth, quiet performance and long life. Instead of only two speeds like most of the other planers on the market, the IP-2509-HD variable speed of 20 to 30 feet per minute meaning you will have the exact speed required. Another feature not normally found in this class is the standard PLC control which allows you to simply enter in the desired height and the bed moves automatically to that setting.
