is a new class of instrument, an arbitrary waveform generator that provides greater bandwidth and higher resolution. Transferring high-volume data requires digital modulation capabilities with a high dynamic range. With the Agilent 81180A arbitrary waveform generator, test engineers can achieve both—up to 1.5 GHz bandwidth and 12-bit vertical resolution.
The advanced sequencing in the 81180A supports complex arbitrary waveform. Three levels of sequencing, combined with 64M points memory, allow engineers to set up complex real-world signals. The dynamic control connector lets real-time applications control the waveform and allows external select sequences.
High Bandwidth: 1 GHz modulation bandwidth / channel, 2 GHz I/Q modulation bandwidth and 1.5 GHz carrier frequency
Versatile signal generation, including flatness, low overshoot, and excellent signal performance, required to test the complex devices of today and tomorrow
High-bandwidth signal generation with very low harmonic distortion and unique flatness to ensure reliable measurements
Function generator for efficient measurements
2 Vpp into 50 for many test cases and devices
1, 2 or 4 channels. Combine 2 channels phase coherent or use them as two independent instruments in a single box. Two instruments can be synchronized to form a 4-channel system
Integration with Agilent industry-leading Signal Studio, MathWorks Matlab® and National Instruments LabVIEW software, providing a whole solution approach and easy integration into the customer environment
Advanced sequencing for best usage of 64 MS memory for real-world signals
Dynamic Sequence control lets your application control the waveform – in real time
10 pre-defined waveforms speed up your measurements
