Match electrical interface (voltage, signal type, CAN), mechanical mounting, shaft diameter, resolution and connector pinout to your controller. Provide the OEM part number or controller specs to the seller and ask for a datasheet.

Inspect for shaft play, corrosion, water ingress, damaged connectors and seals. Request recent test reports, output waveform checks and serial numbers. Verify calibration history and spare-part availability.

Pack with shaft caps, anti-static wrap, desiccant and vibration-damping material inside a sturdy crate. Label fragile, insure the shipment and include a parts list and datasheet for customs if shipping internationally.

Routine checks include visual inspection, connector cleaning, seal integrity and output testing. Calibrate after repairs, impacts or annually depending on usage. Replace bearings, seals or the unit if accuracy degrades.
