Suitable for treatment of steel, stainless steel and aluminum ReBlast is an iron-free abrasive suitable for use on steel, stainless steel and aluminum. ReBlast has an angular shape that makes it an efficient abrasive for cleaning work.
ReBlast is a highly clean product.
It contains a minimal amount of salt. Unlike carbon slag abrasives, glass has a low heavy metal content, which is especially important when working in areas where it may be difficult to pick up the abrasive after use.
Quartz sand is used in the production of glass, but during the melting process crystalline quartz is transformed into amorphous quartz. Switching from using quartz sand to using crushed glass improves the working environment because ReBlast does not include the notoriously harmful respirable quartz.
