I. Working principle and use
NDJ-8S Rotational Viscometer, controlled by microcontroller, is an intelligent instrument with data acquisition, processing and Chinese character display. The instrument controls the stepping motor to run accurately and smoothly according to the set rotational speed, and drives the rotor to rotate through the hairspring. When the rotor is not resisted, the rotor and motor rotate synchronously; when the rotor is resisted by the measured liquid, the rotor rotation will lag behind the motor. When the tension of the hairspring is balanced against the resistance of the liquid, the angle at which the rotor lags behind the motor is fixed. By measuring the angle of tension, according to the set speed and rotor, the instrument calculates the viscosity of the measured liquid and displays it on the LCD screen.
Compared with similar instruments, NDJ-8S Rotational Viscometer is not only easy to operate, stable rotational speed, high measurement accuracy, wide range of operating voltage, it also has an automatic search function, i.e., it is able to search for rotors and rotational speeds required for the measurement of unknown samples.
