Common options are trailering, flatbed transport, or container/roll-on for long distances. Use carriers experienced with boats, drain fluids, secure loose gear, remove antennas or covers, and provide proper cradles or blocks for the hull during transit.

Maintain the jet pump (inspect impeller, wear ring, seals), flush cooling systems after saltwater use, change engine oil and filters, check drive bearings and unions, inspect steering and trim systems, and follow seasonal winterization if stored.

Parts availability depends on brand and age. Major manufacturers are well supported; custom or older pumps may need specialty shops. Verify parts sources and local service before purchase.

Ensure trailer capacity, brakes, and lights match boat weight. Check ramp depth and approach—jetboats can run shallow but need careful loading/unloading. Use proper tie-downs, bow/stern securement, and a winch rated for the boat.
